This website is owned and operated by Leader & Watt Limited. We have 6 stores operating within Manawatu Region – Palmerston North, Feilding, Foxton, Levin, Marton and Dannevirke.

Placing an Order

When you place an order through this website, you are buying the goods from 100% Leader & Watt. 

We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order. Payment for the goods must be made at the time that you place your order. In the event that the goods are no longer available, you will be advised and your payment will be refunded in full.

An order is made on our website by placing a product in your shopping cart and proceeding through our checkout process if the order qualifies for a Leader & Watt Drop-off. See our list of Post Codes qualified for drop-off.

The final step consists of a confirmation page with full details of your order, which you are able to print as a record of your order. We will also email you with confirmation of your order.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders that we believe, solely by our own judgement, to have been placed fraudulently or where there has been an error in the listing, description or pricing of the goods.

Pricing and Availability

All prices listed on “100% Leader & Watt” website is in New Zealand dollars and are inclusive of GST, but not any delivery, installation and set-up charges. While we endeavour to ensure that all prices are correct when published, we reserve the right to amend the prices where an error has occurred.

Also note, these prices listed are available online only as pricing may vary in-store.

While we endeavour to ensure that a reasonable number of goods are available at the prices stated, we cannot guarantee that there will be sufficient stock to meet all orders. 

In the unlikely event where a product that has been ordered is no longer available, our Sales Representative will contact you as soon as possible to discuss your options. This may result in the cancellation of your order or replacement with an alternative product.

If there is an error in pricing online, in a product description, name or product image, 100% Leader & Watt reserves the right to contact the customer and make the appropriate changes to the order. If an alternative option is not agreed upon with the customer, the order will be cancelled and the amount paid refunded.

Website and Credit Card Security

We want you to have a safe and secure shopping experience online. All payments via our sites are processed via the secure ANZ eGate payment gateway which secures your credit card information.

Delivery Charges to Addresses not included in the list of qualified Post Codes

At this time, we only deliver to New Zealand addresses excluding P O Boxes and Private Bags. We do not deliver outside New Zealand; however, an overseas order may still be placed with a New Zealand delivery address.

A $10 delivery charge per transaction shall be applied on all small items. For whiteware appliances, our sales representative will be able to advise you on the delivery charges, installation and set-up options. Note that we are unable to deliver items on weekends.

Please note that a signature is required for all deliveries. To ensure successful delivery, please provide a delivery address where someone will be present during business hours to sign for the receipt of your goods. The goods become the recipient’s property and responsibility once they have been signed for at the time of delivery.

Delivery Period

100% Leader & Watt will endeavour to ensure that the majority of appliance orders will be available for dispatch within 3-5 business days of the order being placed, however beds and furniture may take 2-4 weeks to manufacture and deliver.

We will not be responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these terms of sale if the delay or failure arises from any cause which was beyond our reasonable control. This does not affect any of your statutory rights.

Returns and Refunds

If you are shopping in one of our 100% Leader & Watt stores, we would endeavour to assist you to purchase the correct appliance for your new home by asking you the right questions. However, this is not as easy when you order online. If you need help or have questions about any products please contact us first, before you purchase online.

If you do purchase online and want to return the product you purchased, please note that there is no legal requirement for 100% Leader & Watt to accept returned goods if you have merely changed your mind. However, 100% Leader & Watt may accept certain goods back if they are returned unopened, unused and in original undamaged condition within a period of 7 days only. Contact 100% Leader & Watt first to see if this applies to the goods that you wish to return.

Unfortunately, software, personal hygiene products and headphones may only be returned if they are faulty. They cannot be returned simply because you have changed your mind about them.

You are also entitled to all guarantees and rights to return faulty goods that may be given by the manufacturer of the goods and by law except where excluded in these terms and conditions.

Exclusions to the Fair-Trading Act 1986 and Consumer Guarantees Act 1993

Where you are in trade, you agree it is fair and reasonable that the following provisions of the Fair-Trading Act are excluded:

-       Section 9 which prohibits misleading and deceptive conduct generally;

-       Section 12A which prohibits unsubstantiated representations; and

-       Section 13 which prohibits false or misleading representations.

The guarantees under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 are excluded for all purchases of goods made for business purposes. However, any manufacturer’s warranty and the Sale of Goods Act 1908 will continue to apply.
